Watercolour doodle, totally over worked. Used gel pens on it and gave it new meaning.

Inkwash and gel pen in my square Arteza watercolour sketchbook. This kind of doodling soothes my mind.

Another inktober2020 drawing combining 6 rodent 7 fancy and 8 teeth. Lumin, A blue blooded vampire of mine, apparently does not enjoy his furry visitor arriving without a proper invitation. I tried experimenting with a low single point perspective for this piece and I think It turned well, except for maybe the thumb I forgot was a thumb midway through drawing.

The challenging thing with just using pen is that I can't paint over a mistake. I usually redo a face more than once. I didn't mean to make their face so stoic, it makes them look like a statue.

Doodle over a 1939 Life magazine cover. I used A permanent black marker and some gel pens for the finish.

I'm going to do a series of comics revolving around this character, Carlyle! She's such a an arrogant little diva, and I love her. I'm just doing this to test the waters and get used to writing comics. Not sure how serious I'm going to be with it, but hopefully I'll have fun along the way : )

(gel fineliner pen on 115mm x 87mm paper) I did this piece to test out those cheap fineliner pens that you can buy for £1 for 3 from TheWorks stores. They're pretty good for what they are, as you can see. They're 0.38 in line width and the gel ink is quite opaque.

Trying colour technique with gel pens

Made with pen, ink pencil and gel pen. Started off as a quick sketch to loosen the cobwebs but turned into a piece that I dived into and developed more of my own style.

This is a drawing I did not too long ago, I think the pink and brown were blended nicely together in the piece. I use Copic markers, Microns, gel pens, and Ohuhu markers. I really enjoyed the theme of this character, (cherry blossoms) I think I was able to show the colors nicely together in the artwork.

Inspiration from a little girl told me that nothing can outrun a unicorn.
